Festival News

The 4th   annual St. Clair County Water Festival was held  at the First Baptist and First Methodist Churches in Pell City, AL. Over 100 volunteers helped make the Festival a huge success. Every single 4th grade in the County participated, bringing over 984 students and 41 teachers and aides from the County Schools in Springville, Ashville, Odenville, Moody, Ragland, Steele and the Pell City School System of Eden, Coosa Valley, Iola Roberts, Kennedy and Victory Christian.

The students participated in three “hands on” activities on water conservation and protection including making an edible aquifer, learning about the water cycle by making a water cycle bracelet and a class on filtration.

Entertainment was provided by the “Fishin’ Magician” from Missouri who presents an ecological magic show.
