The second annual Elberta Water
Carnival has been scheduled to take place on Thursday,
April 26, 2007 at the Elberta Elementary School. The
Water Festival is designed to educate the schools third
graders as to the importance of protecting our water
resources.
As a
part of the learning process, the third graders will be
competing by designing some artwork that best
exemplifies water protection. The winning design will be
placed on T Shirts which will be provided to all the
children attending the carnival. Also, the winning
student will receive a $50.00 EEE Savings Bond for
college.
